Absolutely thrilled with our chest of drawers re-vamp from Sally – great communication before and throughout and they’ve come out beautifully. Looking forward to many more projects to come!
Sally did a first class job renovating an old cane rocking chair which had multiple issues: broken cane, loose fitting or broken joints, woodworm…. she kept us advised of progress (sending pictures and videos)and suggested alternatives for example to do with staining. We will definitely use Wood &:Steele again.
Sally did a fantastic job restoring the top of my dining table, which had seen better days. The sanding and finishing was done quickly and I now have a beautiful piece of furniture.

I bought a carefully restored freestanding kitchen cabinet from Sally. We’ve been trying to shop more consciously where we can and Wood & Steel totally fits the bill, reducing waste, second hand, local and with the extra bonus of looking really lovely in my kitchen 🙂
Sally of Wood and Steele did a fantastic restoration job on my old ercol coffee table which had definitely seen better days. Excellent workmanship and expertise has transformed it. By stripping back the old dark stain, making good on a small crack and refinishing to show off the natural wood, it’s now a thing of beauty!Good communication, and stayed true to the original (extremely reasonably priced) quote. Fantastic service, highly recommended.
