Description
This 3-drawer chest of drawers is one half of a dresser. We are currently working on the top section, which will have a bevelled mirror and two small drawers (see ‘before’ photo). The piece can be purchased as it is for the price listed, or with the top section added (final price tbc).
The wood is an absolutely beautiful satin walnut which has been given a soft sheen oil-wax finish. The grain on this piece is really beautiful. The side panels had extensive woodworm damage which had gone beyond ‘vintage character’, so we decided to fill the damage and paint the sides black to give a nice contrast to the bare wood. The handles are original and have been polished. If you choose the piece without the top section, please be advised that it will have holes on the top where the top section would have been attached, which we will fill with wax.
