Description
This stylish mid-century coffee table came to us with an incomplete set of tiles on the top. As it was unlikely we’d find matching replacements, we carefully removed the remaining tiles (hopefully they’ll make an appearance on another piece of furniture!) and replaced them with cork tiles. We think the final look is slightly modernised but still in fitting with the mid-century/Scandinavian design. The old, dark-coloured varnish on the wood was stripped and replaced with a clear oil-wax blend. The table itself is sturdy and now looks almost new. Stunning design given a new lease of life!
